That's a perfect analogy. It's just like a bitter pill. They know they have to swallow it for their own health, but they just can't stand the taste.

This has to be the grossest example of media bias yet.

Fact: Many states have already been placed in the Kerry camp with far less than Bush's margin of victory in Ohio. Those states also have provisional ballots. They just can't believe Kerry has lost. There is no "short" any votes. It's a decisive victory for Bush and Republicans as a whole.

So, what is the delay? They should have called Ohio, Nevada and Iowa and been done with it. That would have forced Kerry to suck it up and admit defeat. As it is, they are empathizing so completely with the Kerry camp, that they just can't swallow the damn pill!
