Time & new names to watch for (someday?).
Given the recent sentiment, commodity price movements and general global economic engines, etc. there's probably still lots of time to do further research. If anyone is keeping a list for possibly the next cyclical kick at the cat here's part of something that was recently in the Financial Post. Thanks to sofaspud for forwarding the link. The last part of the article is pasted below and does list some interesting names -- most are currently private. Some of the situations might be worth watching for if/when public appearance happens.......

KEC-tse Kick Energy which is staffed by some of the ex-Post Energy folks that were bought out by Grant Fagerheim's KCH-tse Ketch Energy tse.com
Possibly one other situation to watch for (I own shares) is KNN.a Kensington Energy Ltd. ABYSMAL is probably a decent adjective to describe history-to-date. The news release late last Thursday would seem to indicate some changes are in the process of happening. Two of the new folks were most recently associated with Petromet which was taken out at $13.20 cash per share by TLM-tse Talisman. According to some mgmt. circulars the Grenville Shoch individual owned just over 2.8mil PNT shares including 170K held by his wife. The director's circular also indicated that Schoch held 300,000 PNT options. Here's a link to recent KNN.a news fin-info.com
If you've made it this far here's one last ugly link. The picture could probably be titled "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Gas Traders" or maybe if the guy was an east coast fisherman it'd be more appropriate to say "hey buddy, got a spare hook?".
