Can anyone help me on this statement. Placer Dome offered I think $27 bucks for BXM a while back. Now, I'm wondering how in a world did Placer Dome offer such a price without doing any due diligence. They can't be that stupid??? Last I heard most major send teams of geologist to potential deposit in order to do their own evaluations. Could they be that wrong?? We certainly can't blame analyst or investor for believing that such a deposit existed when such an offer was made. If all this is a scam, Placer Dome need to rethink and maybe retrain their geologist???
