Mark,
EMC-Wireless-telecom customer data warehouse and back office:
<<There are also back-office implications. From 1998 to 1999, the average EMC telecom customer's data warehouse grew by more than 150 percent. And the growth is expected to continue at that rate. As billing systems become more flexible, companies will generate more data and will need to do more with that information.

A telecom that moves from billing by the minute to billing by the second must have access to 60 times the data. Wireless Internet billing based on volume of information used requires phenomenal flexibility and reliability in data management.>>

<<market is shell shocked on these stocks and like you said they really don't care that much about good or bad news>>

Actually MXTR, SEG, and HDD are outperformers in 2000. Perhaps individual investors return expectations are too high?
