A father in the home means so much, not to mention the income that can get the family away from the trouble spots in a city.

Also religious training can do nothing on its own, really. It's that in homes that are trying to provide some kind of religious training, you usually also find the absence of alcoholism, child neglect and physical abuse. Also parents interested in providing religious training are typically conscientious about nutrition, musical training or sports training, too. It's the whole package and it's synergistic, in my opinion.
