Jennifer Rubin, writing for Commentary Magazine, lacks a background in history. The Bush folk ran in both 2000 and 2004 on that was the guy folk could have a beer with. It's not new. And look what it got us. It did the only it was trying to do--it got Bush elected. True swing voters aren't that common these days, IMO. What makes them swing one way rather than the other?
