It may be as simple as they are waiting to be invited to the party - personally, and respectfully. I don't believe there is that great an ideological barrier between Republican philosophy and African Americans. Don't kid yourself. Republican at all levels of the party are wrestling with this question. It is a great opportunity. Repubs have nowhere to go but up with this group. Dems are waging a purely defensive battle. Still awaiting your response on why the Republican Party has so little support among minorities.
