Well they ASKED me for it. I didn't offer it. So how about letting the students themselves ask for what they want? Or should I say "No, I can't let you read that book."

Is that what you'd do?

I'm no gatekeeper. If my students want to read the Bible in my class, they can. The students are supposed to bring whatever they enjoy. And I buy students whatever books they ask for. That's my thing. SUPPLYING their needs, as opposed to imposing my own.
