bentway, I think things have changed a great deal in the last 40 years as far as worker's wages and rights.

Several automotive companies are manufacturing in the Southern U.S. now and their workers seem rather satisfied even without Unions.

When I worked at a Steel Mill in the mid-70's I liked it because I could come in late or even drunk and it didn't matter. I liked it but I didn't think it was much of a way to run a business,
