The problems mentioned regarding litigation and arbitration, etc. are
not unique to webstreet, so its unfair to single them out as if they
are being less professional than their peers. The fact of the matter is that all the online brokerages are being sued for botched customer orders - read their SEC filings - some go into great detail as to the extent of the claims served.
As I wrote it a prior post on this thread, in the world of online brokers its pick your poison. The safest thing is to place all orders ONLY with a live broker... that's the only way to ward off
computer-related screwups. The extra $10 is worth it.
