We have met the robots, and they are us. . We have been programmed such that when the expression, expressed as our volition thought, considers the possibility that we were created as robots having a conscious, that this test done as a question will not become a FATAL EXCEPTION but a branch to a NOP (no operation) followed by a call to a routine that reinforces our awareness that like time & space in our three dimensional existance, it makes no sense to imagine a life in four dimensions, nor an existence where a consciousness is at a sub level of another type of life form. Thus only a God being, where we are made in His image exist, leaving us with the truth that a robot exist only at the level that we can manufacture this object we call a computer using building blocks of an On/Off switch. . CLONE SHOOTS SELF THEN TURNS GUN ON HIMSELF . That Si post i made years ago where i did a "what if" that machine used on all the Star Trek ships was actually made such that when an object was placed inside an area, a 100% copy was made along with a blue-print such that you could simply call up the object by name and get another copy. atom by atom Now if a human was copied atom by atom we still have a problem, as what are atoms made up of, so lets "what if" as many times as needed and matter & enery wise we made another E.C. and and my bet is that it would have no consciousness and i say this not to imply truth in some views of E.C. :o) but that there is another layer "more" than matter & energy that we have been programmed not to be able to imagine, meaning our consciousness we feel inside our head at the location where we know our brain is, thus its that mass of gray matter with them chemical & electric activity that is us. . Or, Our brain is a receiver where our consciousness exist elsewhere and sent to this thing we call our body, which is located at the place we call planet Earth. So yes our body is really where we see it to be, and feel it and smell and taste, but once we die and this body is turned to a diamond or ashes to ashes or dust to dust or simply food for an animal or micro-organizems aka recycled, we, as in we the consciousness still exist and only needs another receiver like a brain. Yes, but the memory can be erased and once again we can be received by another robot's brain we know as a brand new born baby and the program which is us has all the static and dynamic variables set to nulls waiting for the code to be traveled and do whatever the program made as us was designed(with bugs) to do. . ipaustralia.gov.au Your guide to intellectual property Intellectual property represents the property of your mind or intellect. In business terms, this also means your proprietary knowledge. Types of IP: patents for new or improved products or processes; trade marks for words, symbols, pictures, sounds, smells or a combination of these, to distinguish the goods and services of one trader from those of another; designs for the shape or appearance of manufactured goods; copyright for original material in literary, artistic, dramatic or musical works, films, broadcasts, multimedia and computer programs; circuit layout rights for the 3-dimensional configuration of electronic circuits in integrated circuit products or layout designs; plant breeder's rights for new plant varieties; trade secrets including know-how and other confidential or proprietary information; Find out how these types of intellectual property differ from business, company and domain names which don't necessarily give exclusive rights of ownership. Creating IP does not mean you own the rights to it! With the exception of copyright and circuit layout rights, which are automatic, you must take formal steps to register your IP and obtain the legal rights of ownership. Otherwise, you will have to rely on common law to prove ownership and prior use for non-registered IP. Note: Registering your IP rights in Australia does not give you international protection. You must apply for this separately. You should develop strategies to protect your IP rights. Fail to do so and you may put your business at risk. Do not talk about your idea or make it public too soon, or you may lose the legal right to exclusive use of your IP. Make sure that, when disclosing or marketing your invention or design in Australia, you do not invalidate a future patent or design in another country. Different IP rights vary in the protection they provide. Often, more than one type may be necessary to fully protect your creation. You can find out more about IP strategies in the Using IP strategies section of this web site. Glossary of IP terms © Commonwealth of Australia 2002 (or) VoIP==Voice over Internet Protocol |
