OT OT RE: "medical research"

Stephen,

Medical research is extremely important. My general impression is shifts in federal medical funding means private funding into medical research needs to be accelerated.

I wonder what the donation levels are towards medical research when expressed as a % of Net Worth to measure social responsibility - but not just for billionaires, for all Americans - the Europeans donate more than USA as a % of income.

Some good news on the medical front...I know the Packard Foundation has recently increased their medical focus in their funding objectives. (But I know this because one of the organizations I assist (which is not medical) just felt the not-so-good effects of this transition.)

One problem which exists is: where is the "independent" website showing a person a list of possible medical research projects seeking funding? A website like this would be useful. Do you know if one exists?
