First off, it IS the center of much of the Worlds energy and believe me, the modern world runs on energy. Secondly, its the center of the fanatical islam movement and supports training and equipping fanatics around the world. This movement IMHO is far more dangerous then any NATION we have ever faced. I think of it like a lymphatic cancer slowly seeping into all nooks and crannies of the world. Finally, it would appear that if Iran is allowed to nuclearize it will be necessary for all the nations of the middle east such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan to nuclearize also to protect themselves from the Iranians. A very dangerous situation developing there IMHO. jdn
