....Using NetWinder computers from Corel Computer, engineering and computer science students have developed everything from touch screen kiosks to robotic arms that Corel may license.

One group, with the school's Science Technology Centre, designed a steel lock box -- called the Winder Binder -- that secures the computer to a table.

"It's neat. It's something we would not have thought of," said Corel chief executive Michael Cowpland. "We'll be licensing that from them to turn it into a product."
