I agree with your analysis except for this point. The data collected by objective sources has indicated that the deaths of children under the age of five that can specifically be attributed to the sanctions is approaching 5000 per month. That is 5000 over the normal mortality rate of Iraqi children under the age of 5 when there are no sanctions.
