S.C.Barnard: I have discussed the idea that oil production has peaked after 150 yrs of sapping oil from planet earth, and there is a good article about the research some geologists/mathematicians have done to calculate that production has peaked as of this year or within the next 3 yrs, so i agree with the first article except that i do not have as dire a view as them.

LNG can help but is not the panacea, and i think oil prices will spike in the years and decades to come. The problem is that the oil companies will run out of reserves and they won't be good investments after the next few yrs.

I won't comment on the americancentury link cuz i don't do politics here.

Couldn't get the last link to come up.

What is your view of these 4 links?
