News release was put out Tuesday afternoon. I don't have an email copy, but the summary is.... Best indicator results to date reported on the Royce Group diamond claims in the NWT. Previously, several sample programs recovering a large number of coarse, kelphite-rimed G-10s with kimberlitic ilmentites and chrome diopsides with favourable chemistries. A helicopter-supported Dighem magnetic and electromagentic survey concentrating on the better portions of the property identified 72 "kimberlite-like" geophysical targets. Twenty two of these were high-priority targets, and of these, 14 were ground-checked and tight till sampling was completed down-ice from the targets. Two of these targets yielded excellent indicator counts, including one sample which returned more than 50 pyropes and over 100 picked indicator minerals. Background on the property is around 3 to 5 indicator grains. Also announced was a follow-up ground geophysical program to be followed by diamond drilling. All in all, excellent results. This is the culmination of over 4 years of following the tills to their source. Mineral chemistry is very encouraging, geophysics is very good, and geomorphology of the target is good (lakes).
