Can we assume that AT&T would tell TWX to go to hell if they tried to veto the deal or tried to push RR service?
AT&T has very little influence over TWX. Comcast sticking with @home is essentially a voluntary thing, the chance that they would defect to RR (or someone else) was very real, now it is even more real.
The only thing that will muddy the waters is whether the users such as yourself will accept being forcibly moved to another service. I'd appreciate feedback on your opinion of how much the @home brand stands out in the eyes of Comcast subscribers.
