More rumblings in the NDA -- Shiv Sena bigots unhappy with their portfolios in the Union Cabinet :

Excerpts :
In what may be linked to the tensions between the BJP and the Shiv Sena, BJP leader Promod Mahajan did not assume charge of his ministry today.
Mr Mahajan, who was the information and broadcasting minister in the last government, has been given the portfolios of Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources. His place in the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has been taken by Mr Arun Jaitly.
However, in an apparently contradictory development today, Mr Manohar Joshi, who has been allocated heavy industries and public enterprises, today gave a policy statement despite not formally assuming charge.
Joshi unveils agenda
Mr Joshi said the Government would consider setting up an independent body to look into sickness in the public sector so that the Government could work on their revival on a case-to-case basis.
(I guess Mr. Joshi will, at best, once again begin working out the modalities of the privatization plan. At worst, of course, is the plan to "work" on the "revival" of the stupid public sector outfits... These guys are beginning to sound just like those CPI/CPM fellas!)
Looks like the fun has begun, folks! Nice to see bigots stabbing one another! Anybody still thinking that this crowd will hang together for more than two years? (and two years is an eternity for this gang of thugs!) |
