And talking of clowns, anybody think that the clowns in the NDA will hang together for even half the term? I mean, it is not even a week since they took over and the scoundrels have already started fighting -- Hegde vs. George Fernandes, Shiv Sena vs. BJP, some JD(U) guys in Bihar that were not appointed ministers vs. the JD(U) guys that became Ministers... Plus, there is the RSS lobby gunning for the heads of Sinha, Jaswant Singh, and Fernandes, then there is Ayodhya, privatization of the insurance sector, rising prices and inflation because of the recent 35% hike in diesel prices...
Anybody still think these clowns will hang together? I will give them between six months and a year. With generous use of Band-Aid, they can probably make it to the two-year mark perhaps, but no further. The Bihar assembly elections to be held in five months' time could serve as the catalyst for the downfall. |
