I do not know where that came from but it is certainly irrelevant to the analogy I proposed.

I noted in a previous post that we did nothing when Africans were ethnically cleansing each other with machetes but that we're morally obligated to get involved when Europeans are doing it with guns. If you want to apply your child analogy then you must accept the flow through.
