What can I say? They're whores. But research and trading are supposed to have a Chinese wall between them.

I recall an incident a few years back where someone I know had over $1 million at Merrill invested mostly in semiconductor and PC stocks. Her broker, who was making a killing off all her trading, didn't bother to give her a heads up the day before Tom Kurlak unleashed one of his temper tantrum turds at Intel, which tanked the living boohunus out of everything in her portfolio. I can only surmise that the sales staff didn't know the hit was coming, and that's proper.

The way they're trying to push these FO "pre-revenue" -isn't that a hilarious term - IPOs out the door before it closes is pretty suspicious too, don't you think? Shades of MTHR, GDEN, etc.? Beats me but you have to wonder.
