Exact prices of Zips in Sweden (someone emailed me and asked for this):

Zip parallel: 1,590 SEK + 25% tax (=~$US240+25%=~$US300)
Zip SCSI: 1,690 SEK + 25% tax (= ~$US255+25%=~$US320)

Note that the sales tax is federal, not State, so you can't get out of it via mail order the way you can in the US. As you can see, the before-tax price is much higher, reflecting the higher cost of selling Zips in Sweden, but also hopefully lots of extra margin.
