Oh, bullshit. It is certain possible to disagree with a country's policies without being seen as attacking all Jews. Even the Israelis recognize that because they attack their country's policies all the time. In your mind.
No, but accusing Israelis of conducting genocide, particularly in light of their own history, is highly offensive and I would certainly view that kind of lying misrepresentation as persecution.
Cute. For one, it isn't lying. Again, the government admits it to be the case. They have released the documents which show it. There are many Israelis who call it genocide. Probably because it is. Displacing an indigenous people by force is genocide, no matter how you slice it. You might view such truth as persecution, but you view a lot of things in weird ways.
You doubt wide swaths of reality. It is a strange thing to watch.
I don't agree with many Israeli policies. Like there are many American policies I don't agree with. Likewise, German. Does that make me anti-American and anti-German?
The problem is that when you are faced with uncomfortable truths, you try to shut down the opposition. Throwing "anti-semitism" around is like calling someone a Nazi. Again, the fact of the matter is that documents released by the Israeli government reveals that it embarked on a propaganda campaign from the start to whitewash the founding of Israel and the genocide they planned from the beginning. Mainly for the benefit of Americans, who they were dependent on. Ironically, the term "genocide" and the laws regarding it were a direct result of what happened to the Jews during WWII. The hardliners that pushed these policies in the early days did so to make sure that it never happened again. Unfortunately, that meant treating others like they were treated. Arguably not as harshly, but dead is dead.
These things are generally accepted in Israel. After all their government has documented it. Now a lot of Israelis have the attitude of "so what?", but at least they accept reality. You though, seem to like to believe in made up bullshit instead. I suppose it helps you sleep at night. |
