Jim, he said binsplit. That's a term referring to AMD's own internal testing results, not the claims of a third party. Anybody can hand pick units and offer a guarantee. It's been widely discussed here that all parts must run faster than their rated speed to allow for the hot electron caused speed deterioration over time. Extra massive cooling can also keep the case temperature below the rated limit. It is no surprise that some units can be significantly overclocked. In fact it is necessary to guarantee long term reliability.

Charles claim was:

"I do not see any bin split issues that could stop AMD from shipping 850s or 900s now ".

I believe that claim is without merit.
