True there have been some major corrections in CPQ but they have been very short lived. It is very hard to find any 2 to 3 year period where CPQ did not exhibit exceptional performance. I didn't mean to imply that Compaq doesn't experience some serious month to month fluctuations. Rather, my point is that for the long term (5 year+) investor there simply have not been many major (e.g. IBM) type disasters:
