Do some paper trading first and be sure to put stops in. Options is different and I learned the hard way and lost a lot of money. To play it safe you can buy 5 or 7 1/2 April. Gives you more time and room to get out. No one wants out of the money options with a few weeks to go! Also the options are best traded by hedging your positions. Buy both puts and calls to "straddle". Sell short in the money calls and buy out of the money calls or "Call backspread" and hundreds of other option stratigies. Buy a book, study, and buy some good option software. Option Vue and OptionStation are two that I can think of. If you are used to trading on the long term perspective and never look at a chart. Then this may be a good time to start. With options you want to exit as soon as you can. The stock you can ride out but options can expire worthless! Also with this stock you want to keep some plain old stock for the long haul!
