Lots of talk on the message boards about Dell acquisitions too. Mark Peterson CPA ..."Well that's interesting. Dell has done a great job growing organically in its core business. But after reading over 800 posts, I think a bolder stroke may be in order to take that quantum step that leaves others gasping for breath. I could see Dell becoming Master of the Internet by buying CMGI (CMGI: news, msgs). Alohal ..."If I knew what acquisitions were in the offing I would be thrilled. Something that can help them make the transition from just using the Internet to drive efficiency and build customer satisfaction to becoming somewhat more of a builder of the Internet. Selling picks and shovels rather than panning for gold."
