Ah, yes that demonstrates a divided Democrat Party in that election. If the Democrats wanted to win, they could have fielded only 'one' candidate. Rarely when a party is divided equally do they then coalesce to support a single candidate in the next election. We have seen this before in many States and National races. The fact is the young Republican won with 40% of the vote------neither of the other two could muster 40%----------the best they could do was 30%.
