As I noted in an earlier post, MOT (1xtreme) and the CWTS (las-cdma) have apparently distanced themselves from one another this year after having merged their proposals last year in an effort to become the baseline technology proposal for 1xevdv.

From documents submitted during the last 3GPP2 meetings, it appeared to me that MOT, along with TXN, NOK and Philips are seeking to marginalize the CWTS (China) and las-cdma as pertains to 1xevdv - hinting that an agreement with LQS(+LSI+LG) is possible - and cutting the CWTS out.

Although I strongly doubt their prospects for their success, and personally consider an alliance between the CWTS and LQS(+LSI+LG) more likely, the very least that can be said is that MOT's actions have not brought them closer to the CWTS...
