Friedman on France. What took you so long, Tom? Anyone with two neurons to rub together could have educated Friedman on French intentions long ago. To say that French policy concerning Iraq is short-sighted is obvious. I think that perhaps we are seeing the fallout from a personality clash: Rumsfeld and Bush really do grate on the nerves of Chirac and Villepin, so much so that French policy is being adversely affected. They need to chill.
