JQP - at least you've got a sense of humor...

Now; open wide for that big ole' Crow Sandwich...

In all seriousness; there should be something salvaged by this for threadsters that got caught with their pants down (thats for you Q) waving the pom-poms here while the Smart Money exited...

I'm curious; but just in a "trade the traders" kind of way; on what the mindset is for those for example who made the round trip on XTO.

You go from $19 to $29 and right back to $19; so what do you do if it hits $15/$16 in the next couple of days ?

Most here were allready full throttle into the NG pureplays - so most, really can't buy more... but, even if you could - do you really want to ?

JQP - do you mind re-visiting what you did with TMR last Sept during the Deja Vu E&P collapse then ?

Does one capitulate here like Diana; take the still very healthy profits that are still retained - if you've been a longtimer like she has been ?

But, what if you got on board late here - what if you just bought into this Nat Gas story at the top & just got the rug pulled out; what do "you" do here ? Double down, or capitulate ?

... the lesson learned here is that it is far, far better to act than to have to re-act.

To be early both in & out; to be able to trade the traders - when they are forced to re-act & unable to act...

Leading & not following creates opportunity... those that led here & got out at the top and have been pounding the table on keeping lots of cash & exercising patience are going to get another March 1998 Deja Vu all overagain - mid cycle shakeout trading opp.

We will be poised to step in here & pick up the pieces during capitulation and then be in a position to sell the upleg this spring.

This blow off here had many signs & warning signals all over it.

PS:Warpfactor - who is the "contrarian indicator" now ?

It amazes me - I get criticized for exiting on the final top of each cycle leg here & each & everytime get vindicated... Same thing when I said the NAZ was going to sub 2558 when the Techies arrived here during the NAZ 3200-3500 headfake rally... same ankle bites, same BS.... and they took the same losses.

In complete and total seriousness - this thread was , is and will continue to be; a near perfect indicator of when to sell.... it was perfect.

When the cheerleaders start saying "you sold to soon" , when the profit takers let alone the "shorters" get castigated, boo'd and run off this thread the next time... don't hesitate to be hitting that sell button. It worked in the spring of '99 OSX rally where we moved 50% in one month, in Sept '99 when the E&P's collapsed the first time into a perfect fundamental storm, the April/May OSX rally of '00 and now here during the Nat Gas blow off peak....

The cheerleaders & pom pom wavers got their heads handed to them and by my count; less than 5,6 longtermers here played this one well... bullsky, both Jims & Iso... and probably a couple of others I apologize for missing... the bulk of you were food....

Learn from it... this was literally a classic "Deja Vu all overagain " lesson - don't repeat it...

And you just might get another chance with the March to May rally that's coming... just watch.

... The great & powerfull OZ has spoken ~

So it is written; so it shall be done...

Ciao ~

PS: Someone mop up all the blood here on this thread; will ya ?
