I know you can do better if you just keep trying. That is so nice of you to give encouragement sig. She was born and bred to complain, grumble and moan when she doesn't get her way. Maureen is just indulging herself by using the same old same old learned tactics she's relied upon for years. I imagine she was rewarded for that kind of behavior with lollipops and trips to the zoo when she was a child? Inside, she was probably hoping someone would put her in a corner until she cooled off, but I don't think that ever happened. I remember several instances when I had to deal with people on various committees that behaved just like her. They literally had public temper tantrums when they didn't get their way. Red faced, feet stomping, raised voices, spittle spewing, the works. I think that is why the phrase "what is it about no that you don't understand" was invented. Nicely, and humorously mind you, I told them to go cool off in a corner. That infuriated some more than others, but thankfully the brow beating stopped. Those people who just couldn't master communicating on an adult level moved on to more fertile ground. Mo has the world as her stage, and she's nearly perfected the act she developed as a child. M
