I came across SCO?s site. Looks like they have a very aggressive marketing program to compete head to head with Citrix?s Metaframe. This program could be effecting Citrixs ability to get customers to commit to Citrix. tarantella.com . Apparently SCO?s has a new upgrade product Tarantella Enterprise 11 released in January. Looks like SCO?s is going all out to grab business from Citrixs. Right when Citrix is trying line up a lot of business in the second quarter, SCO?s has a marketing program to offer ten seats for every one Citrix seat. SCO?s program of 9 freeTarantella seats for every one Metaframe seat ends in July. SCO?s couldn?t have timed it better to effect Citrix second quarter.
