E!, O Most MO.. Went and did "the golf thing" so just getting back to business... Today's intraday chart isn't tracking as expected. Was looking for the morning bounce, a late fade off, with a close under 19 3/16, and a break down Tuesday, continuing Weds and Thurs with a test approaching 17 by Thurs/Fri. The track fell apart a bit just after noon when LSI started climbing to a stronger close.. If we don't get some serious weakness tomorrow a.m. I'll have to go seeking advice, guidance, inspiration, a Star in the East...anything. Don't you hate it when a stock goes "somewhere else" <gg> For the longer horizon -- out beyond 6 months, and for the following few years, it's hard for me to visualize abandoning "Silicon" and technology as the place to be for the most dramatic results... I don't even think the current bombing of tech is warranted for more than this quarter.. //OT// Ah, but the G! -- Now there we should see some just retribution for being such a great stock! So you are giving me 95, which I must get before it hits 120, right!! Gee, what a nice contest. I wouldn't bet a LOT on it --- no more than I've dropped in LSI options lately (less than million, as I recall <g>) --- but it looks like a sure thing to me! Start the Play! -- Let the Game begin! Oh -- I'm not counting on meltdown. Just looking for the funds who are riding the "sure" things in their flight to safety to recognize that G's overseas sales are going to be impacted just as much as the average tech stock, and discretely abandon it, along with other hi-PE global consumer stocks to "pick up bargains" elsewhere.. It's worth a thought. (Based on some work by a prof back analyzing the '73-'74 market who noted that the PEs of the "safe" stocks became RELATIVELY higher as the rest of the market moved lower... Finally, their exposure caught up with them, and they joined the downslide. If I recall correctly, stocks like Avon, Xerox, IFF, etc, lost 80-90% of their values after the trend got underway. G's PE appears relatively higher in the current market).. Given T SO's record, this probably means that "G" is a screaming "buy" for the next 200 points up <gg> dlo
