You don't think when the Senate Leader stands on the floor of the Senate and tells outright, known, obvious lies publicly in an effort to maintain political power, that that is not at least as bad as what McCarthy did? Not only did Reid "ruin careers" he left in charge of the United States the most incompetent person to ever hold the office, and someone who would not be competent to run the island in Hawaii he'll ship off to when he is done.

Seriously. McCarthy was nothing compared with this either of these arrogant assholes.

And you, for defending them, are just as bad. At least the Republicans were willing to stand up against Nixon.
