I am not sure how a natural gas based currency would work, but it has definite appeal. With a gold backed currency you have always potential convertibility, but with NG it does not seem as easy to make it convertible. But if they could finagle our incredible NG resource into a method of saving the currency and even maintaining its reserve status, then I am all for it.
