Rich, The devil is not the opposite of God. He was created by
the Word of God which means he was created by Jesus (Col 1).
The description of his creation is in ISaiah 14 and EZE 28:12.
Lucifer was real. He was an arch angel that lead worship and praise in
Heaven. He lead a rebellion 1/3 of tthe angels in Heaven sided with
him. The actual war in Heaven didn't last very long. God just waited
til all the angels chose God or Lucifer. Then the Arch Angel Micheal
lead the war and it was over as quick as lightning strikes.
Jesus said He saw Satan cast to earth like lightning.
This war caused so much destruction that the earth had to be wiped
out and re-created. This recreation is what is described starting in
Gen 1:3. Note that the word create (bara Hebrew) is not used in the
remake of earth. It is only used for animals and mankind. Most people blamne the devil or demons for thing that they actually chose and desire to do.
Satan controls you only if you have demonite spirit. Demons control
most people because their mind,will,emotions are not renewed to
the Word of God....So most people blame the dvil for things that
they just want to do.
