Brazil: Alcatel to supply Embratel THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 1999 8:20 PM - South American Business Information Alcatel announced it has signed two telecoms equipment supply contracts with Embratel worth US$70mil that will expand the networks for voice and data. Alcatel is to supply 700 high capacity transmission & receptors that will interconnect the main routes used by the long distance carrier Embratel.
