One must be very careful with those sun glasses, they must be UV blockers, otherwise the effect is worse than without them. Sun glasses will cause the pupil to expand, and if the glass is not UV blocking even more damaging UV will get to the retina. Most off the shelves sun glasses are not UV blocking and thus exacerbate the problem.
