Wouldn't be too surprising if we get a couple of 5 million volume days over the next little while! I agree that old highs need to be taken out on large volumes to be convincing!

When tech stocks start to run, they often overshoot even optimistic targets. Hopefully AMD has started its run today and can be added, down the road, to that stable of tech stocks that outperform even what seem like optimistic targets.

As Bilow pointed out,there are similarities between AMD technicals and fundamentals and those of TXN in 1995. Those who caught TXN in Mar. '95 have done very well. My guess is those who catch AMD below $38 will do exceedingly well in Y2000.
