Kerry's wounds were all real and all received in combat. The Navy doesn't give out Purple Hearts for fake wounds. To claim otherwise is a gross insult to the Navy and every combat hero the Navy has ever had. It might also be smart for you to read the evidence proving that every single smervet claim is either an outright fabrication or the most cynical kind of twisting of the truth into something ugly. The smearvets were a Rove-Bush-delay dirty trick and hoax, nothing more, nothing less. The fact that the GOP gave them medals and praised them is solid proof that the GOP has no ethics and are total phonies when it comes to supporting our military. In fact the same bunch of liars smeared McCain in 2000 in a similar way. and McCain, who calls the smearvets "dishonest and dishonorable" is probably going to be the GOP nominee in 2008, so he definitely will not stoop to such cowardly lying as Bush did.
