Murtha is a boy scout compared to the Delay-Cunningham-Hunter congress. Murtha will keep his nose very clean. He has also not been found guilty of anything but taking an earmark.

Furthermore, in the ABSCAM tape he can plainly be heard turning down the bribe. Is Murtha perfect? No. But are dozens of DElay crony rightwing congressmen guilty of selling out their country and countrymen to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars? Absolutely.

But if Murtha is ever found guilty of a crime he should be indicted along with all the Delay cronies. Zero tolerance for corruption should be the new rule in DC, retroactive to back to 2000, which was the last time the congress conducted any real ethics investigations. Plus we need thorough investigations into the executive branch and all their massive corruption, including their role in letting the energy companies and health care sector gouge us.
