Rajala- It is not at all like betamax/vhs. If fact the betamax/vhs comparison favors Q. If you wanted to watch betamax movies, you had to buy a sony player. If you want cdma 2000, any licensed supplier can provide it.

Your argument is about market share, not licensing issues. The strategy Q uses is similar to microsoft. They did not make the same the mistakes sony did with betamax or the mistakes Apple made with software. Q licenses EVERYONE who wants the superior technology.
