Guess I need to do more research regarding the advandtages/disadvantages of a CANDU vs a MS LFTR. The LFTR seems so implicitly simple and inherently safe, due to operating at one atmosphere, with a built in safety "plug" that would drain the molten salt into a storage basin in the case of a over-heating situation.. And either can operate with spent Uranium fuel, helping to dispose of that problem waste.. But then we also have Lockheed Martin claiming they can have a Fusion reactor up and running in prototype within 5 years, and commercially ready within 10.. Hawk
