Indeed, for ages it has held the world down. Lack of reason leads to dictators, inquisitions, witchhunts, superstitious claptrap and a monsterous world. We live in such a world now because of the altruistic-mystic-Atilla trinity. You do not think; you avoid reason. Nothing surpasses knowledge, not love, nor love of an invisible diety. Reason is not based on faith, only objective observation and learning what is real or an illusion by trial and error. Much of what one mystic taught (Christ) was actually rantings by the Apostle Paul -- a man known to be quite insane. Father Terrence
