Did you see where the sheriff on Dukes died this week?
Pretty sad, but at least he lived to a ripe old age. More than I can say about Boss Hogg, who passed away not too long after the show was cancelled. (The two actors were very close friends, I heard.)

The Duke boys, of course, are still around. Now they're doing AutoTrader.com commercials.

There was a funny scene in Smallville where the two actors had a mini-reunion. They even did the whole "slide across the hood and climb into a car through the window" thing.

Just dem good ole boys. Can't explain why that show still appeals to me, even though we'll NEVER see a show like that ever again ...
