However, the odds on that happening there on that day were more or less the same as the Golden Gate Bridge or Kennedy Jr. High in Peoria or the mall down the street from you or any other structure in the country on any other day. Would you have felt justified calling for the evacuation of your mall on that day or any other day based on a billion to one odds? How would you choose the building to evacuate? How would you choose the day? How do you dare leave your house? How do you dare remain in the country? That billion to one could get you, after all.

Whoops. Gotta run. There is one chance in a billion that there will be an earthquake under my house in the next few minutes so I need to get outta here.... <g>
