Karen -

But that's exactly the problem. The terrorists don't want to fight us. They just want to surprise and frighten us by blowing things and people up. Sometimes they do it remotely, and sometimes they use suicide bombers. But combat is the last thing they want.

Again, having troops in one place has no effect on the terrorists' ability to strike us here, there, or anywhere.
