Just a brief note - I noticed in the latest paper from Ariad that part of their strategy uses the cytoplasmic sequence of Fas to target their small molecule dimerization approach. Apoptosis as a readout for FK506/FKBP interaction. I'm not sure if this is the same as the caspase targeting you were refering to but certainly Ariad is utililizing the pathway. CW
